ADA Australia Gold Coast Multicultural Seniors Lunch

Multicultural Seniors Month is a celebration of the richness of our multicultural society through vibrant multicultural events, storytelling, performances and learning. Queensland’s cultural diversity is one of our greatest assets.

The Gold Coast Multicultural Seniors Lunch is in its 5th year now and is a chance for older people of all different cultural backgrounds to come together, share stories and histories, and this year, to showcase their talents in our Seniors Got Talent competition!

About Seniors Got Talent

Local seniors aged 55 and over are invited to participate in Seniors Got Talent at the Gold Coast Multicultural Seniors Lunch, a fun segment of the lunch to showcase your skills. There will be fun prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

Competition Format

Each act will have a maximum of 5 minutes to perform a musical piece, dance or other performance art of their choice. A panel of 3 judges will score each performance (with audience participation), and winners will be announced at the end of lunch.

Applicants will need to review and agree to the event terms and conditions.

Technical Requirements

Performers must provide their own equipment, including guitar/bass amplifiers, keyboards and stands, drum sets, as well as any required accessories such as chairs, props, leads and music stands. Performers are responsible for providing all stage props and instruments. The venue will provide an audio operator, necessary audio equipment, and 4 microphones with stands. Please indicate where you require a microphone on a stand or a handheld microphone.

General Terms

The judges' decision is final and no appeals will be entered into regarding the judging process or outcome (it's just for fun). Any costs associated with entering or attending the event are the responsibility of the participants. By entering Seniors Got Talent at the event, all participants accept all conditions of entry including the terms and conditions.
