ADA Australia’s Thursday Island Services
The ADA Australia team offers services for older people on Thursday Island, such as aged care advocacy and a care finder program. We help people understand their rights and speak up for them. If you or someone you care for requires help accessing aged care, exercising their rights, or needs assistance in other related matters, the team at ADA Australia can help.
Aged Care Advocacy
Our aged care advocacy services work to help seniors uphold their rights and have their voices heard. ADA Australia specialises in assisting people in accessing appropriate care and support options, addressing any concerns, and understanding their rights.
At ADA Australia, we understand that navigating the aged care system can be challenging. We can help older people identify and understand the residential and home care options available on Thursday Island, communicate care preferences, and more.
Our team can also assist with reviewing and negotiating care plans and making referrals for assessments. We can also help raise and address concerns about service agreements, fees, statements, and budgets.
