ADA Australia Mt Isa
Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia (ADA Australia) is a not-for-profit, independent organisation serving metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote communities across Queensland, including Mount Isa. Our goal is to improve the well-being of older people and those living with disabilities through our advocacy and community legal services.
Our Mt Isa team offers aged care advocacy services, seniors care finder, and seniors legal services in the area. All our services are free, confidential, and client-focused. We always put our clients first. You tell us your preferences, requirements, and how you want us to help.
ADA Australia’s Mt Isa Services
In Mt Isa, we provide aged care advocacy, a care finder program for seniors, and legal services for seniors. We help people understand their rights and needs and speak up for them. If you or a loved one needs help accessing aged care services and support, understanding their rights, or addressing concerns, the team at ADA Australia is here to help you.
Aged Care Advocacy
Our Mt Isa aged care advocacy services help seniors uphold their rights and have their voices heard. We specialise in assisting people in accessing appropriate care and support options as well as resolving issues with their aged care services.
Our team understands that aged care services can be challenging to navigate alone, and that’s why we are here to provide guidance. We can help you understand all the residential and home care options and access them, communicate care preferences, and assist with any concerns.
ADA Australia can also assist with reviewing and negotiating care plans and making referrals for assessments and additional services. Our team can also help raise and address any concerns regarding service agreements, fees, statements, and budgets.
Seniors living in Mt Isa who have issues accessing aged care support services or have concerns about their service provisions for the following Australian Government-funded aged care programs are eligible for our help.
- Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
- Home Care Packages (HCP)
- Residential Aged Care Homes

- Assistance with accessing aged/home or allied health services
- Providing guidance on the completion of forms and service agreements

- Family agreements
