Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia (ADA Australia) is a not-for-profit, independent organisation that serves metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote communities across Queensland, including Mackay. Our mission is to improve the well-being of seniors and those living with disability through our advocacy services.

Our team can assist if you or a loved one needs help accessing aged care services and support or addressing concerns. We can also help explain any financial assessments and fees regarding aged care support.
Aged Care Advocacy
Our Mackay aged care advocacy services are designed to help seniors understand their rights, uphold them, and have their voices heard. We specialise in assisting people in accessing appropriate care and support options, communicating preferences, and addressing concerns.
We understand that aged care services can be challenging to navigate alone, which is where we come in to provide guidance. Our team can help you understand all the different residential and home care options and how to access them. We can also ensure that any care requirements are met.
ADA Australia can also assist with reviewing and negotiating care plans. Our team is experienced in making referrals for assessments and additional services. We can also help raise and address any concerns regarding service agreements, fees, statements, and budgets.
