Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia (ADA Australia) is a not-for-profit, independent organisation serving metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote communities across Queensland, including Ipswich. Through our advocacy services, we aim to improve the well-being of older people and those living with disabilities.

In Ipswich, we provide aged care advocacy, ADA Law community legal services, and a care finder program for seniors. We help people understand their rights and needs and speak up for them. If you or a loved one needs help accessing aged care services and supports, understanding their rights, or addressing concerns, the team at ADA Australia is here to support you.
Aged Care Advocacy
ADA Australia can assist with reviewing and negotiating care plans, as well as making referrals for assessments and additional services. We can also help raise and address any concerns you have regarding service agreements, fees, statements, and budgets.
People living in Ipswich who are having issues accessing aged care support services or have any concerns about their service provisions for the following Australian Government-funded aged care programs are eligible for our help.

ADA Law Community Legal Service
Our team also provides support to those at risk of or experiencing elder abuse in residential aged-care settings. If you or someone you care for is looking for assistance, ADA Australia Ipswich can advise and help you reach an optimal outcome.
Clients eligible for assistance with elder abuse from ADA Australia are any adults over 65 years of age, residing in residential aged care homes, and experiencing (or at risk of experiencing) elder abuse from either formal or informal decision-makers, carers, or friends.
