ADA Australia’s Brisbane Services
Aged Care Advocacy
Our Brisbane aged care advocacy services help people uphold their rights and have their voices heard. Our team can assist with helping people access appropriate care and support options.
We understand care services can also be challenging to navigate. Our services can help you understand and access residential or home care, help communicate care preferences, and address any concerns.
Our team also provides support in reviewing and negotiating care plans and making referrals for assessments and additional services. We can raise and address concerns about service agreements, fees, statements, and budgets. The ADA Australia Brisbane team can also assist in exploring available care options.
People living in Brisbane who are having issues accessing aged care services or experiencing service provision and care-related problems for the following Australian Government-funded aged care programs are eligible for our help.
- Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
- Home Care Packages (HCP)
- Residential Aged Care Homes
- Disability Support for Older Australians (DSOA) Program
- Commonwealth-funded dementia services
- Flexible care services, including:
- Short-term restorative car
- Transition care
- The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program
