Elder Abuse Conference 2026

Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia is proud to be a co‑host of the 2026 Australian Elder Abuse Conference.

This conference brings together advocates, practitioners, policymakers, researchers, community members and people with lived and living experience, all united by a shared purpose: to prevent elder abuse and challenge the ageism and inequality that allow it to persist.

Across three days, participants will come together to:
  • Connect with people working on the frontline and in leadership across Australia
  • Share knowledge, research and practice-based insights
  • Confront the complex realities of elder abuse, ageism and systemic inequality
  • Learn from powerful stories and innovative responses shaped by lived experience
