As a Disability Advocate, you will provide information, support and representation to people with disability, their family or unpaid carer. You’ll work closely with the Team Leader and Manager, Advocacy Services to deliver individual, group and systemic advocacy that promotes, protects and upholds human rights. This role involves helping clients navigate complex systems such as the NDIS, addressing issues like abuse, neglect and discrimination, and ensuring people have a voice in decisions that affect their lives.
