ADA Australia seeking applications for a full-time or part-time Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advocate for the Cairns region. In this role you will provide information, education, representation and advocacy support to ADA Australia’s clients, in particular those from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander communities, to ensure that clients are informed to enable them to make their own choices and have their rights and interests respected and upheld. ADA Australia is seeking applications for a Team Leader, Disability Advocacy, based in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast. In this role, you will oversee and manage a team of Disability Advocates located across Queensland who provide information, referral, support, and representation to ADA Australia clients, focusing on individuals with disabilities, their families, or unpaid caregivers. The aim is to ensure they have access to disability advocacy that promotes and protects their full and equal enjoyment of all human rights. Applications close: 5pm, Tuesday 7 May 2024.
