Senior Policy & Research Officer
Permanent Part-time (24 hours per week)
Brisbane (location negotiable)

ADA Australia is a statewide, not-for-profit, independent, community-based advocacy and education service, supporting and improving the wellbeing of older people and people with disability. ADA Australia has 9 offices throughout Queensland, with its head office located in Brisbane Geebung.

ADA Australia is seeking applications for a part-time Senior Policy & Research Officer for the organisation. The purpose of this role is to coordinate and undertake policy development and to provide high level analysis and advice to support ADA Australia’s response to systemic advocacy initiatives and commitments. Key areas of work will include research and analysis, writing and producing high-level policy documents, including detailed policy papers and submissions.

This position is a SACS level 6.1 position under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, with pay rates in accordance with the Fair Work (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Amendment Regulation 2012 (No. 2).
