ADA Australia Roma
Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia (ADA Australia) is a not-for-profit, independent organisation serving Queensland’s metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote communities. Our services also extend to Roma.
Our organisation’s goal is to improve the well-being of older people through our aged care advocacy services. In Roma, we offer a range of aged care services to help older people with issues regarding their services in the area.
All the services offered at ADA Australia are free, confidential, and client-focused. The interests and well-being of our clients are always at the heart of what we do.
ADA Australia’s Roma Services
In Roma, we provide aged care advocacy services and a care finder program to help people find support. Through these services, we work to improve the well-being and quality of life of older people. If you or a senior you care for requires help accessing aged care services/support, assistance understanding your rights, or addressing concerns, the Roma ADA Australia team is here to help.
Aged Care Advocacy
Our Roma aged care advocacy services help seniors communicate their preferences s, uphold their rights, and have their voices heard. We specialise in assisting seniors in accessing the appropriate care and support services and understanding rights when receiving home care services or residential care.
At ADA Australia, we also understand how challenging it can be to navigate the aged care system. Our services can help guide you through the system free of charge.
The ADA Australia team can also help with reviewing and negotiating care plans, assisting with referrals for assessments and additional services, and raising and addressing any concerns regarding service agreements, fees, statements, and budgets.
Seniors living in the Roma area who have issues accessing aged care support services or have concerns about their service provisions for the following Australian Government-funded aged care programs are eligible for our help.
- Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
- Home Care Packages (HCP)
- Residential Aged Care Homes
- Disability Support for Older Australians (DSOA) Program
