Human Rights and Social Justice – Shifting Client Control

ADA Australia was pleased to host their inaugural national conference themed Human Rights and Social Justice: Shifting Client Control. The event was held at the Crowne Plaza on the Gold Coast, 23 – 24 March 2018.

This theme was chosen as the aged care, disability and guardianship sectors have undergone significant reform in recent years, aimed at increasing client choice. The national conference challenged, inspired and motivated the attendees to consider their roles in increasing human rights and social justice through the empowerment of their client cohorts that have been traditionally disempowered.

The conference offered a world-class program of aged care, disability and guardianship leaders, CEO’s, senior managers, professionals, policy makers, advocates, academics and researchers from across Australia.
